Body Lifts
Do you want to age gracefully and look graceful as you age? We can help you achieve both with our selection of body lifts.

What are Body Lifts?
A body lift is a plastic surgery that tightens your skin to tone and redefines your body shape. Body lifts can be especially favorable for people struggling with loose skin caused by aging, bariatric surgery, extreme weight loss, pregnancy, and sun damage. No matter your reason, we offer a variety of lifts to treat any area you want. These options include breast lifts, upper arm lifts, thigh lifts, butt lifts, facelifts, neck lifts, and brow lifts. With these procedures, we can remove excess skin and/or fat for smoother, firmer, and younger-looking results.

A Body Refresh
While anti-aging moisturizers, serums, toners, and other skincare products are great for maintaining your skin’s health, they can’t reverse deep-set wrinkles or tighten looser skin. We believe skincare is the best preventative care, but to turn back the effects of time, body lifts are the most effective at producing results. If you are looking for a body refresh, our selection of body lifts might be for you.

Why Does Our Skin Start to Sag?

Collagen Loss
Collagen is a protein that gives our skin structure and firmness, giving it that youthful texture. Aging causes the amount of collagen to naturally decline, but certain lifestyle choices can influence its decrease as well. This includes smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, sun damage, and certain medical conditions. You can boost your collagen amounts with injectables, but they can’t address loose skin. For that, your best option is a body lift in the area you’d like to improve.
Decline in Elastin
Like collagen, elastin is another protein that helps keep our skin youthful-looking. Elastin gives your skin the ability to bounce back, like elastic. It’s why our skin stretches and can reform around our body when we lose or gain weight. Also like collagen, it’s natural for elastin levels to decline as we age and can also be exacerbated by certain lifestyle and environmental factors.

Brazillian Butt Lift
Brazilian Butt Lifts have become a very popular plastic surgery, but its name doesn’t fully explain what it is. A BBL is not a butt lift. A standard butt lift only lifts and reshapes the skin of the buttocks, while a Brazilian Butt Lift injects the fat into an area to add volume. If you want both volume and a lift, you can ask your provider about both a BBL and a butt lift together.

What to Expect at Your Consultation
Clear communication with our patients is important for us. This is why we want you to consult with your provider before you can schedule your body lifts. At your consultation, you and your provider will discuss your medication list, surgical history, and health history to make sure your procedure is safe for you. For your safety, it’s important to answer your provider honestly, as any unknown health issues could impair your recovery.
We will also discuss your needs, concerns, and goals so we can provide you with the results you are looking for. It’s also important for potential candidates to know that body lifts do not address excessive stubborn fat. If you have areas of fat you want to treat, we can perform liposuction along with your body lifts. At your consultation, being transparent with your provider will help us have a better understanding of how to treat you. We also encourage you to ask questions so you feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
Risks
Body lifts also come with their share of risks like all surgical procedures. We want to keep you informed every step of the way, so we will discuss these risks with you at your consultation. While complications are possible, our board-certified plastic surgeons take every precaution to reduce the likelihood of any risks. We encourage you to voice any concerns or hesitations you may have so we can help you feel at ease with your procedure.
Recovery
After your surgery, we do everything we can to minimize pain and make your recovery as comfortable as possible. Since every recovery is unique, you and your provider will discuss aftercare based on your procedure or procedures. After the swelling has decreased, you should see the results of your body lift. Your targeted area should be smoother and tighter. The full results will develop over time as the area fully heals. For long-lasting results, maintain a steady weight with proper diet and exercise.

What to Expect for Your Body Lifts
After your consultation, your next step is to meet with a nurse for your first pre-op. This appointment is generally two to four weeks before your procedure. During this time, the nurse will give you your pre and post-op care instructions while answering any questions you have regarding them. The nurse will also go over your current medications, health history, and previous surgeries to make sure there are no complications before surgery.
After your first pre-op, you’ll have your second pre-op with your surgeon. At this time, your surgeon will explain the procedure and answer any questions or concerns. On the day of surgery, you will meet with the OR nurses who will prepare you for surgery. You will also meet with the anesthesiologist to discuss any previous issues you’ve had with anesthesia. Then, your surgeon will make any necessary markings, and address any last-minute questions.
All of our body lifts are outpatient procedures which means you will need someone to drive you to and from surgery. For your safety, we also recommend they stay at least one night with you after your procedure to make sure there are no complications.
